In May 1990 Roger Waters asked me to shoot a film for the gig in Berlin.
I shot it in the Eastern sector, with Rupert Everett and Marianne Faithfull. The city was deserted, buildings were abandoned
and we could go anywhere. I projected the Marching Hammers onto sections of the Berlin Wall and re-filmed it.
It was a shocking image in that ghost town, in the grey light of dawn
